You’ll lead an HR team on all people issues around employment terms & conditions, HR policy, training and development, leadership capability, performance management, employment law and regulation, disciplinary and grievance, payroll management and change management. You’ll work closely with our senior leaders, coaching and supporting them, while developing a deep understanding of how our business operates to become a true business partner in delivering our business goals from a people perspective.

Deine Mission

Act as our Key HR Lead in supporting our business leaders to effectively lead, engage employees in our brand today and in the future across your territory. You will:

  • Develop trusting and influential relationships with your senior managers, having the confidence and strength to constructively challenge their thinking and ways of working
  • Set out a clear People Plan for your territory to proactively identify and meet business requirements which will include building a talent plan and identifying talent issues before they impact our business, and developing  and coaching our next generation of leaders
  • Identify and act to reduce local  operating costs, being fully agile in responding to organizational change
  • Ensure compliance with local employment law and regulations, particularly in relation to employee terms and conditions, and positively enforcing HR policies and procedures
  • Provide people insight and analytics to support local and group people and talent decisions
  • Proactively identifying and addressing people issues before they become barriers to our business
  • Ensuring that HR operational processes are efficient and effective, and that HR systems processes are up-to-date to ensure people data integrity
  • Leading on the implementation and integration of new payroll and time & attendance system as well as ensuring efficient and effective administration of payroll, new starter and leaver contracts
  • Consistently seek out and identify new ways of working and processes that can deliver simpler, streamlined processes, remove activity or enhance activity
  • Business Partner with the Senior Managers for Wholesale, and Retail Area Managers and Store Manager to provide support and coaching to enhance their leadership ability
  • Develop and build talent and consistency in the HR team to improve stability and enable internal growth
  • Work in partnership with UK functions to build understanding and enhance communication of why, what & how.
  • In conjunction with the HR teams, embed and enable ad-hoc Superdry people interventions driven globally including new recruitment methods, rolling out performance management frameworks, annual pay review

Du passt zu uns, denn du…

  • Deeply experienced working in a HR environment at a manager level
  • Ideally experienced within a retail business or closely related service sector, ie hotels,
  • Able to build strong and effective relationships with Retail and Wholesale leaders and managers
  • Strong Hard HR background
  • Fluent in English (written and verbal)
  • Able to provide professional, pragmatic advice to leaders both verbally and in writing
  • Able to operate at both strategic and operational levels
  • Able to write policies in line with local legislation
  • A self-starter able to work independently with the ability to take ownership
  • Understanding and appreciative of the importance of using discretion and confidentiality
  • Able to train, develop and coach others in HR best practice.
  • Commercially aware, analytical and thoughtful, you understand how HR can influence the business.
  • Ideally qualified in Human Resource Management
