Director HR Strategy (m/f/d)

PURPOSE

Support the HR Senior Leadership team with the implementation of the HR strategy, help ensure that the strategy is understood in the organization and coordinate activities cross-functionally to help bring this strategy to fruition. Provide trend scouting, data analysis and research input and lead projects relating to HR.


KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Support the Vice President HR Strategy in executing the HR strategy and defined objectives for the HR organization in close collaboration with the HR Senior Leadership Team
  • Act as a sparring partner to the Director Strategy Office on HR future trends, continuous improvement of the function and strategy execution
  • Support the HR Senior Leadership Team’s annual calendar of events and objectives setting process in collaboration with the Senior Director HR Strategy
  • Facilitate and manage Senior Leadership meetings and key events
  • Conduct internal and external research and data analysis on select HR topics & trends; compile data, insights and presentations for HR Senior Leadership, the Board and the Supervisory Board
  • Drive implementation of the ‘management agenda’ through preparing relevant SMT meeting/calls, ensuring structured follow-up on key topics / action items
  • Lead projects and planning activities for the department and function
  • Support the Vice President HR Strategy in any ad hoc projects and coordinate those across the different functions of the organization.
  • Act as an interface for strategic Group requirements, inputs and projects (e.g. Corporate Strategy, , Investor Relations, Risk Management etc.)

KNOWLEDGE, CAPABILITIES AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong analytical, conceptual thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Deep level of strategic thinking
  • Proven high level of project management, budget management and stakeholder management
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills; interpretation skills
  • Ability and proficiency to gather, extract, analyse and visualize qualitative and quantitative data using statistical tools such as Excel, Tableau or other
  • Ability to translate data findings and analytics into compelling insights and actionable recommendations; capable of presenting data back to the business in an easy-to-understand way

QUALIFICATIONS

  • A four-year degree from an accredited college or university with emphasis on the areas of business, HR, Finance or Marketing, MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 8 years progressive working experience in fast moving goods industry in a strategic function and/or consulting background in one of top strategy consulting firms
  • Proven track record in two or more of the following: Project management, HR Expert or HR Business partnering, Finance, Business Development, Strategy, Change Management, Data Analytics - preferably on a global scale
  • Experience in corporate, matrixed environments
  • Experience in global management consulting is a plus
  • International experience and mindset
  • Fluent in English
  • Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
