Head of Employee Relations (m/f/d)

The successful Head of Associate Relations will be supporting the German business in Mars whilst leading a remote team of Associate Relations experts. You will be responsible for identifying and managing high risk situations, managing relationships with stakeholders, managing OD and change within the business and will be accountable for building functional capabilities within HR and the management community.


Key Responsibilies:

  • Driving improvement to increases effectiveness within the organization
  • Creating an environment of engagement, fair treatment and trust aligned with our Five Principles and Associate Concept
  • Foster a high performing culture that enables the team to achieve excellence
  • Exceptional relationship management with stakeholders
  • Partner with the legal counsel on high level HR Issues
  • Manage and communicate large change processes in the organization
  • Provide regular coaching and training to line managers and HR partners in HR topic


  • University degree or equivalent in Business, preferably in in Human Resource   
  • Seven or more years of experience, including three to five years in a managerial role
  • People leadership skills with demonstrated ability to build capability, develop and engage associates
  • Ideally experience working in an associate relations/labor relations environment and providing associate/labor relations expertise
  • Proven experience building strong and influential relationships
  • Ability to rapidly mobilize and manage teams
  • Strong communication-, analytical, problem-solving, and decision making skills
  • Exceptional conflict management skills
