Main job responsibilities

  • Responsible for driving the HR agenda in DC EMEA Operations in Hamburg
  • Provide HR business partnership on people initiatives for office employees as well as warehouse employees
  • Provide leadership and HR expertise in areas such as recruitment, performance management, talent acquisition and retention, learning and development and compensation and benefits
  • Responsible for supporting a strong organizational culture and company values
  • Recruitment of warehouse personnel and office personnel
  • Execution of trainings and workshops
  • Close cooperation with managers and advice on all labour law and personnel issues
  • Conducting performance appraisals
  • Drafting of employment contracts and supplementary contracts
  • Payroll preparation

Professional and personal qualifications

  • Extensive HR generalist experience and ideally in a distribution centre or warehouse environment
  • Experienced people leader
  • Strong knowledge of German employment law
  • Experience and knowledgeable in regards to payroll systems
  • Good knowledge in the areas of labour law, personnel development and compensation & benefits
  • Experience in conducting trainings and workshops for employees
  • Strong advisor and influencer
  • Relevant academic or professional qualification, preferably within Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology or similar
  • Fluent in English and German
  • You are used to working in an international and solution-oriented environment and have a can-do-attitude
  • You are able to communicate at all levels of the organisation  You are reliable and able to work independently
